About Our Church

About a decade ago prayer groups have been created within our Mother Church, Amsterdam Ghana. As these meetings were being held more frequently the attendance within the group in Almere kept increasing. At some point it came to our attention that we had a base to start a Church Plant. From that moment on we started as a group preparing towards that. In 2018 Almere Ghana became an official Church Plant. On the 7th of June 2025, we were officially inaugurated as a fully-fledged Church. Our main objective is to reach out to the people around us. By so doing sharing our believes and faith with others and multiply.

Our History

About a decade ago prayer groups have been created within our Mother Church, Amsterdam Ghana. This group expanded to a Bible study group and meetings on a monthly base were being held. As we were meeting more frequently the attendance within the group in Almere kept also increasing. In 2016 we started getting together on a quarterly basis during Sabbath days. Throughout the years the group multiplied and more members were becoming active. And it was then that the decision came to plant a new Church in Almere.

In 2018 we presented our plans to the Dutch Adventist Union and at the end of that same year Almere Ghana Church Plant became official. On December 2019 we said goodbye to our Mother Church and from January 2020 we started worshipping during Sabbath days on a weekly basis in Almere. And this is going on until today.

At the end of 2024, the proposal to become a fully-fledged Church was submitted to the Dutch Adventist Union for approval. On the 23rd of March 2025, the proposal was discussed and approved by the National Executive Board.

On the 7th of June 2025, we were officially inaugurated as a fully-fledged Church during a joyful and solemn ceremony. The event was attended by representatives from various Churches, including our mother Church Amsterdam Ghana, as well as delegates from EGGACOM and the National Executive Board of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in the Netherlands.

Our Mission & Vision

Our vision is soul winning for Christ as the disciples were commission to do so. And our mission is to do it by spreading the word and to meet human needs.

Bible Mandate

These are the Bible verses what drives us. As previously mentioned in our introduction, we want to reach out to the people around us. By so doing sharing our believes and faith with others and multiply, fulfilling the word of God which asks us to go and proclaim His word.

Revelation 14:6 (NKJV):

Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth—to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people—

John 20:21 (NKJV):

So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”

"The plan for our redemption was not an afterthought, a plan formulated after the fall of Adam. It was a revelation of "the mystery which hath been kept in silence through times eternal."
